The Question: from Johara M on 10/8/2009 3:07:53 AM | | tricks
i know a photographer never shares his/her secrets, but im really curious: how do you make that spot of color in a monochrome photograph? photoshop it in, or layer a colored part of the photo on its B/W counterpart? |

I hate secrets - but even if I did, this technique is actually a very popular and basic procedure. Google "Select color" or "selective color" and you'll find many turorials that teaches it Basically, you have 2 layers of the same image. One in color and one in B&W, then using layers in Photoshop you choose which part of the image to keep in color Good luck |
